Osteitis Pubis Treatment
In Mill Park
Groin Strength For Sport
Osteitis pubis brings aching or sharp pain at the pubic symphysis with change-of-direction, kicking, longer runs, or even rolling out of bed. We’ll settle the irritation, balance adductor and trunk load, and rebuild the engine room so sport and work feel possible again—servicing Mill Park and surrounding areas.
Why Osteitis Pubis Lingers
It’s a load-sharing problem across the front of the pelvis. Sudden spikes in running, kicking or change-of-direction, weak links in adductors or lower-abdominals, and limited hip rotation all push stress into the symphysis.
A Clear Path From Pain To Power
We assess gait, hip rotation, single-leg control and adductor strength, then map a pacing plan that respects healing while keeping you as active as it’s safe to be.
Early we calm symptoms with deloading strategies, gentle manual therapy and isometrics for the adductors and trunk.
We then progress to controlled strength through range, add anti-rotation work and integrate running mechanics that reduce shear at the pelvis.
When markers improve, we introduce acceleration/deceleration and cutting drills so field demands don’t shock the system.
Why Choose Physium For Osteitis Pubis
You’ll get clinicians who understand field-sport demands and can blend clinic care with on-ground progressions in our rehab gym. We coordinate imaging only when it changes decisions and maintain links with sports doctors for complex cases. With your consent, we’ll liaise with coaches so training plans and rehab talk to each other. NDIS participants are supported with goals around walking distance, transfers and participation.

Maintaining Integrity In Pelvic Control Training
We’ll target the pillars of pelvic control—adductors, lower abdominals and hip rotation—so change sticks. Expect short, repeatable sets that fit your week and scale up as you prove tolerance.
Return To Running And Change Of Direction
Your plan moves from walk-run intervals to steady running, then adds cutting, pivots and kicking when strength, control and next-day feel say yes. Honest criteria beat the calendar every time.
